Having shot our projects at their venue multiple times before, Savaya Bali called SHO in to shoot their Southern Tribe event. The main objective given to us was to have a compelling visual, without shooting actual footage of the party.
This meant we create fresh and different content, communicating the appeal of Southern Tribe and Savaya not through the party shots, and instead our vision was to film soul of the event through combining wide and closeup footage of the outfits, make up, sound design, their company profile, and their trademark venue traits.
Combining various 15 second sets of very specific shots, we captured the magic through fire, mythical creatures, the Savaya cube, and many more individual specific imaging that would evoke emotion, showing the event without shooting the event.
We worked together numerous times after, and we're looking forward to creating more magic with them.
